ACH – Case Study

ACH is an insurance claims management business. They will handle all of the contact with an insurance company after someone has been involved in a non-fault car accident. ACH supply a replacement vehicle and handle the vehicle damage aspect.

When we started working with them in 2023, their business was run on a very old piece of custom software built using Microsoft Access and SQL Server 2005. The IT support company was worried that it could break at any time. It really needed replacing with something more modern that was fit for purpose.

Although it was quite niche compared to a lot of the businesses we work with, we were able to adapt our CRM system to fit their needs, which involved tracking a lot of information about a claim and its progress, and sending and receiving documents. We were able to automate a lot of processes including providing a portal for clients to upload documents, and make the sending of documents by email quick and simple. We’ve also been able to produce reports which are extremely useful for the management of their business.

Operations manager Rachel Forrester said: “Our old system was really creaking, to the point where we were worried what might happen to our business if anything went wrong with it. Nuvola’s system has not only removed these worries, but helped to speed up lots of little parts of our process. It will now help to underpin our growth moving forward. Nuvola have been really responsive and helpful throughout both the initial project, and with support and add-on work since. We’ve now engaged them on a development retainer to provide constant improvements to the software, and look forward to a long relationship with them.”
